On July 21 & 22, the Royal City RollerGirls hosted the The Roller Derby Association of Canada Eastern Regionals: Dames of Thrones. Seven Teams competed in full length bouts, with the top two teams moving on to the Canadian Championships. On July 14th, Greater Toronto Roller Derby hosted the 3rd annual Fresh & Furious Tournament. Fourteen teams from from Guelph, Barrie, London, Windsor, Toronto, Montreal, Woodstock, Lindsay, Ajax, Ottawa, Buffalo, and Timmins competed in single period, 20 minute tournament bouts. Montreal took 1st Place, followed by Royal City RollerGirls (Guelph)'s Top Herloins in 2nd Place. The Renegade Derby Dames placed 5th overall.
